Driven 2019 Fright Fest review

Driven Fright Fest 2019 review

With Fright Fest from Arrow Videos now going strong we’ve gotten our hands on a hidden gem from the festival called “Driven” which basically is a supernatural romp with an Uber while the Uber story in a film is being used to its core in movies over the past few years, with big films like Stuber and The Big Sick we now have an Uber like style film with a supernatural element starring Richard Speight Jr.(TV’s Supernatural). Richard does something special here. I usually see him in bit parts if not I see him on Supernatural. He really does an excellent job carrying the film and keeping it grounded. Which is difficult to do with many low budget supernatural movies which could come across as over the top or silly. The cast here keeps it at a steady and comedic pace as well if barely stumbles and when it does the veteran cast does a great job with picking it back

Final grade:

3.5/5
