Universal Horror Collection Volume 4 review

Universal horror collection volume 4 review

Shout Factory! Reminds us every time they release a horror collection, why they’re number one on bringing the curated care we need for these collections. The movies in this collection are all great, with a great cast from the original days of horror.

Now some of the readers may not find these to be horror per se but back in the day of the early going movie experience, they were considered to be top-notch horror drama movies.

The collection includes:

Night Key which stars the iconic Boris Karloff in a fantastic role, I don’t think I’ve seen a movie of his that I didn’t like his performance. The movie itself is a little over an hour-long which is basically a tv show in modern times. The audio and picture transfer is fantastic here.

Night Monster which stars Bela Lugosi who absolutely owns this movie every way you could appreciate. He was simply a masterful actor of his time.

House of Horrors which stars Bill Goodwin in a really suspenseful thriller.

The Climax which is another fantastic Boris Karloff vehicle.

The overall grade of the collection.
5/5 stars

This is my own site. I am also a podcaster and writer at infamoushorrors.com this is a new page dedicated to smaller films and reviews and interviews that won’t always make it to infamous horrors.
